28th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (EU PVSEC) and Exhibition 2013

Description: By the end of 2012, the worldwide installed photovoltaic electricity generation capacity exceeded 100 GW. It has the potential to increase 2.5 fold within the next 5 years according to the latest Renewable Energy Midterm Market Outlook of the IEA. These findings show that PV is on the right track to become a major electricity source in the coming years.The EU PVSEC is the largest international Conference for Photovoltaic research, technologies and applications, and at the same time one of the top international PV Industry Exhibitions. Ingrid Project at the National Annual Conference AEIT 2013, held in Mondello (Palermo, Italy) on 3-5 October 2013

Description: The INGRID Project was presented at the AEIT 2013 annual conference, devoted to innovation and scientific and technical development. The Conference objective was that of providing a comprehensive overview of the state of the art of innovation in electronics, informatics and telecommunications, in enery, in transportation and in enabling technologies.
Massimo Bertoncini of Engineering presented the paper “Sistema di gestione energetico innovativo con stoccaggio a idrogeno per l’integrazione di fonti rinnovabili a supporto del bilanciamento della rete”, illustrating the INGRID Project main goals and characteristics.
