For the fast developing market in the Region it serves as the key annual show/conference and industry meeting place. It attracts increasing number of exhibitors, trade visitors from both private and public sectors, as well as conference attendees from 4 continents.
Through the years it has been continuously broadening its scope – launched initially as a EE and RE event, it enlarged its span, enriched its format with a lot of side-events and got more proled. [12 June 2013] INGRID project at the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2013 on 26 June 2013

Description: The INGRID project will be represented at the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW 2013). Dr. Massimo Bertoncini, the Project Coordinator, will give a speech within the framework of the workshop “Storing renewable energy: is hydrogen a viable solution?”, organized by the HyUnder FP7 project . Such workshop which will take place on the next 26th June 2013 in Brussels, will cluster a group of four relevant projects (HyUnder, INGRID, MYRTE, GRHYD,, aimed at using hydrogen-based systems for energy storage both in the short term, for grid balancing, and in the long-term for system stability. [21 June 2013] INGRID project at the ICT for Sustainable Places International Conference to be held in Nice on 9 – 11 September 2013

Description: The INGRID project will be represented at the ICT for Sustainable Places International Conference, which will take place on the next 9-11 September 2013 in Nice (France). ICT for Sustainable Places is an annual international conference and exhibition organized by the FP7 RESILIENT project European research project, supported by the European Commission under its FP7 research funding programme. The event aims at representing an open research forum debating on the energy and environmental benefits of district level intelligent building interconnection, distributed energy resources, smart grid innovative applications, and many other challenges at the crossroads among smart energy grids, smart buildings ansd smart city. Dr. Massimo Bertoncini, the Project Coordinator, will present the INGRID project on the 10th September within the parallel workshop “Building scale & Building to District interfaces” You can register at the conference web site.
