International Conference Automotive Fuel Cells

Description: The Automotive industry is searching for new concepts to fulfil the requirements of the transport sector for the future. One of the most promising approaches for future road transport is the fuel cell electric vehicle.
This technology has medium-and long-term potential to achieve a significant market share. After several decades of developing prototypes and test vehicles of fuel cell vehicles, the automotive manufacturers are now on the verge of commercialize this seminal technology.
The fuel cell is the best way towards a clean and safe transport technology to build lower emission and emission-free vehicles. Fuel cell vehicles don’t have range limitations like plague battery electric vehicles, a much lighter fuel cell module is quite attractive and can be filled in 2 or 3 minutes at a filling station.
Due to the fact that high costs of fuel cell components are a big challenge for the promotion and market launch, the series production and automation for fuel cells and its components in the car becomes more important.

[21 June 2013] INGRID project at the ICT for Sustainable Places International Conference to be held in Nice on 9 – 11 September 2013

Description: The INGRID project will be represented at the ICT for Sustainable Places International Conference, which will take place on the next 9-11 September 2013 in Nice (France). ICT for Sustainable Places is an annual international conference and exhibition organized by the FP7 RESILIENT project European research project, supported by the European Commission under its FP7 research funding programme. The event aims at representing an open research forum debating on the energy and environmental benefits of district level intelligent building interconnection, distributed energy resources, smart grid innovative applications, and many other challenges at the crossroads among smart energy grids, smart buildings ansd smart city. Dr. Massimo Bertoncini, the Project Coordinator, will present the INGRID project on the 10th September within the parallel workshop “Building scale & Building to District interfaces” You can register at the conference web site.

Description: Hydrogen + Fuel Cells 2013 (HFC2013) is the sixth edition of its kind, a leading international conference for the hydrogen and fuel cell industry hosted by the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association.
