INGRID Project at “Smart Mediterraneo. Best practices, innovation and pilot projects in smart grid development in the Mediterranean region” workshop planned in Bari (Italy) on June 23 - 24, 2016

Description: On June 23 and 24, INGRID project will be presented in the workshop “Smart Mediterraneo. Best practices, innovation and pilot projects in smart grid development in the Mediterranean region”, organized by the European Commission Joint Research Centre Institute for Energy and Transport in Bari (Italy).

The workshop is related to the activities of the smart specialization platform for energy and is aimed at building synergies among the regions of the Mediterranean Sea to exchange experiences and best practice in the field of smart grid. Regional authorities, companies, universities and research centres will benefit from the workshop, whose objective is the creation of links between local and international stakeholders, gather needs and expertise and improve innovation capacities in the smart grid technologies.

On June 23 Puglia Region and ARTI Puglia, represented by Carlo Gadaleta Caldarola, will have a speech on the apulian background on sustainable energy and smart grids, with a special link to INGRID, and on June 24 Massimo Bertoncini will present INGRID project in the session related to best practices from pilot projects in smart grid development.

Engineering presents INGRID project in the SEERC Conference in Portoroz (Slovenia) on June 8, 2016

Description: INGRID project will be one of the protagonists of the first SEERC Power Conference, the Forum of South East European electric power experts organised by NC CIGRÉ of Slovenia and planned on June 7-9, 2016 in Portoroz (Slovenia). During the conference, Engineering will present the INGRID project through the paper “Simulation-based analysis of the potentiality of incentives for prosumer flexibility”.

ARTI Puglia presents the INGRID project at the strategic committee meeting for the hydrogen mobility

Description: ARTI Puglia presents the INGRID project at the final strategic committee “Hydrogen Mobility Italy” (MH2IT) meeting for the hydrogen mobility in Italy, hosted in Bari. In the last months, the strategic policy committee MH2IT, composed of national industry and research representatives, has drafted a proposal for a national Plan for hydrogen mobility, which the Italian Government will present by to the European Commission by November, as required by Directive 2014/94/EU on the development of alternative fuels market.

INGRID Project at the Energycon in Leuven (Belgium) on April 6, 2016

Description: Engineering will present the INGRID project in the 2016 edition of the IEEE - International Energy Conference (Energycon) in Leuven (Belgium) on 6th April 2016. The title of the paper is “Smart Multi-carrier Energy System: Optimised Energy Management and Investment Analysis”, planned in the ME2: Multi-Energy Systems 2 session at 10.30 am.
